Niki
Niki came to Heads Up in 1992, and was donated by Michelle Hernandez of Palmdale, California. She is a QUARTER HORSE MARE now entering her 26th year of life. Orginally she was a show horse and won many honors. Then she became a brood mare and produced seven beautiful babies. When her last baby was three years old Niki came to Heads Up. At first she thought she had arrived to make another baby. She was a bit upset. But soon she learned that she was starting an entirely new career. Niki is the best of the best. She has great tolerance and compassion for her riders. Niki had been handled very well from the day she was born. She had been professionally trained, and never abused. To this day, Niki carries herself perfectly every time she steps into the arena. You can sit on her and never touch the reins and Niki will carry her head in a perfect show manner.
