Star is a Miniature Horse. He is ten years old. Miniature Horses are not ponies or baby horses. They are a separate breed. Mini horses cannot carry a rider, but as you can see, they can pull an adult in a cart. Driving mini horses is wonderful fun.

Star was donated to Heads Up by Sarah Kishner, of Las Vegas, NV. He joined Heads Up in October of 2001. Star is the Heads Up Community Ambassador (goes to all of our fund raisers), and he is the perfect horse for our 3-5 year old group to groom. A horse they can meet eye to eye. In the future, Star will also be working with disabled adults and Senior Citizens who will learn to drive him.

He believes he is just as big as the other horses, and goes out to play with the others Star is registered with the American Miniature Horse Registry. His registered name is Sparkle Plentys Star Attraction.
